Orders are normally shipped within one working day, depending on stock levels of the product required, and are forwarded using normal UK mail services, or via standard air mail for overseas customers.

'Air Mail' is the only current shipping method. We have three regional shipping options, UK, Europe and International.

For customers outside the EU, no VAT (sales tax) is charged. We ship these items under Royal Mail 'Recorded' delivery, which means that the shipment is 'trackable'. This has been introduced recently (Sept 08).

Please allow approximately one week (5 working days) for delivery of overseas shipments.

All  bottles are  pre- packed in  500 gauge polyethylene bags of dimensions 14cm x 21cm, they are then packed into padded brown envelopes of dimensions 22cm x 13cm.

For larger orders, boxes of  20 bottles, 50 bottles and 100 bottles of Salclear branded products are available, and are packed in double walled cardboard boxes, with additional bubble wrap filling inside for added protection of the goods during transit.

Our aim is to package the products well, such that when they arrive at your door, they are in perfect condition.

Bottles and Closures - antifogs/cleaners

The SalClear range comes in a variety of 50ml coloured and clear transparent plastic bottles; either PET or PVC. Each bottle is equipped with either a black pump mist spray closure and transparent cap. All of the packaging is recyclable.

This packaging is easy to use, non fragile, and light enough to carry around in any bumbag, pouch or pocket.

Each spray use dispenses 0.13ml of product.

For scuba diving, sunglasses, and other spectacles, and assuming one pump on either side of the lens inside and out, that is 0.6ml per use. Which means that you have 96 full days usage from one bottle, or about 3 months! If you are using the product one day per week (eg weekend diving), that is over a years use from one bottle… Value for money!

The ingredients used to formulate the SalClear range have been chosen in particular because they represent a low degree of hazard to humans in use.

We have sought and endeavoured to use the highest quality packaging available throughout.

Labelling

We at Salclear have gone to great lengths to ensure that our product is of the highest quality, and this attention to detail has also included the product labels.

Our labels are produced to the highest standards. The labels use water proof oil based inks, on white polypropylene label stock and employ waterproof adhesives which are pre applied to the label. . The label is additionally over lacquered with a clear coat to enhance scratch resistance

We wanted to ensure that the label was resistant to water and would not get soaked and disintegrate during the lifetime of the bottle.

A quick screening test that we performed on our product showed that a labelled bottle was completely impervious to water when immersed at ambient temperature for a minimum of 5 hours. There was no effect whatsoever on the label, it remained intact and unaffected.  In fact, we went further and left labelled bottles in hot soapy water for two hours, and they remained unaffected.

We are therefore confident that in use, our finished packaging and labelling will remain resilient to the environment whatever conditions are exposed to them in use.
